my grandad created a video movie on dvd of all my daughters pictures in to movie slideshow and had music but my mother in law wants a copy of it and am using mac osx leapord and i dont know how to copy it for her.

do i copy dvd to avi and then avi to dvd
windows i used to have win avi do everything or dvd shrink

All you really need is a DVD copy program of sorts. I don't use my Hackintosh for such purposes as there are free utils for the PC which do a better job (ImgBurn for instance).

You shouldn't need to rip to avi etc, just a straightforward copy.

ave a hackintosh as well but was having major issues with graphics for world of warcraft on it really bad ones like

Mine's got an NVidia 8600GT and is smoother in HD than running in Windows!!

Nero can do it, infact pretty much any burning program can. Just do a disk to disk copy, you don't need to reconvert or anything!


At last a common sense answer !? ;-)
