Its all a scam to get your money and give you nothing in return.

Ignore the give away prices on the front page.

Each bid costs you money, anyone makes a bid after you then you lose your bid and your money.

You could make 5 bids for the same object (each one costing you money), each one being topped by someone elses bid (maybe even a person who does not exist), and you could finish up with nothing.

Behind these web sites is some clever technology that makes sure YOU spend lots of money and nobody ever gets anything cheaply (if at all)

Keep well away.

I’ve used Madbid in the past but there are so many using it now it is SO hard to win. I found another one that is launching soon called Doobids. I’d be surprised if anyone knows about it because I have not seen them advertising anywhere yet. They are getting around Facebook as a fan page but they seem a bit different from the others though because they have put extra features on it making the whole process of bidding slightly more transparent, doesn’t look as much like a scam! Theres a security certificate as well which is really important for secure transactions. UK company registered and VAT registered. Might be worth a punt for those that care.

Seven posts and each one about the same auction site......

Deserves the ban for spamming.

Don't go there if you are shopping rather go and buy new product or go to a vouchercode site. MadBid is a strategy game and Swoopo and MadBid both in the BBC breakfast clarified. for anyone who goes straight and tries to win a laptop or a car for few pounds is wasting time and money. You have to understand the site, find a strategy and bid at right time and against right people.
Also MadBid gives five free bid for you to try, no one forces you to spend money. I am sure five freebids is enough to give you an idea as what you are getting into.
