You guys might remember ordering that fan heater from daxon which was supposed to be free but they ended up charging us 9.99 for it and we all had to return it. Well, ever since, they have been sending me offers and catalogues through the post even though I have explicitly told them I do not want ANY mail from them and that theyre wasting their time and money because Im not going to buy anything from them. But the mail is STILL coming through and Im getting quite annoyed. Does anyone know what I can do ?

Why not put it in an envelope WITHOUT a stamp and post it back to them. They will have to pay for delivery. :D

Repost as "NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS" or "RETURN TO SENDER" printed on the front of the envelope, clearly blank out your postcode so that the auto mail reader at the post office does not just resend to you.

most companies have a system that if they have 3 undelivered items returned to them from the same address the hold all communication.
HTH, we do this at SKY

Well here is the solution for the junk mail in our lives.

I'm not sure that if this will work for Daxon since you have had previous dealings with them. If not, Dino's solution is best.

I just take the name and address details off and put the paper with others for recycling.

I get loads of Daxon crap as well. The cost of buying useless bargains, lol.

Best suggestion so far!!

EDIT: Or even, rip it up and then post it back without a stamp. They'll pay for it and it will be worthless to them. :P

Add loads of other junk mail in the envelope as well, when you post it back without a stamp....

thanks guys
Im not surprised to hear others are also having problems with Daxon.

Sorry, I dont get your revenge tactic of putting it into an envelope with their address on but no stamp. Wouldnt the post office just hold it because its postage is not paid for ???

Something clearly has to be done about this. MPS would be a last resort as thats a lot of hassle in itself.

No, if you get incoming mail which hasn't been paid for then you can either tell the post office to open it, find out who it's from and send it back or you must pay the postage cost + a £1.00 charge.

Either way, all it's cost you is an envelope. ;)
