A lot of increases, no doubt because of our fallen currency rates

Increases:

Apple TV 4 - by £10

Trackpad 2 - by £10

Pencil - by £20

All iPhone cases - by £10

iPod Touches - At least £20

Base Watch straps - by £10

iPad Pro 32GB 12.9 - by £50

iPad Silicone 'Case' - by £14

IPad Pro Keyboard - by £20

The biggest rip off is the iPod Nano, it's now £149, no design change for years, it was £129 yesterday!

Dread to think what Mac prices at the end of year refresh!

It really is shocking and unjustified.

£919 is obscene for a phone!

That's the reality of currency devaluations. Sure our exports might become cheaper but importing stuff will obviously be more expensive.

This also exposes one of the fallacies of the Leave campaign, that Europe's carmakers and winemakers will force their governments to give us good terms....Apple won't see any lost sales from this. People will still pay a premium for products that they paid a premium for in the past.

They'll simply curse Brexit for it whilst doing so. X)

It is obscene. Though not just Apple. Samsung Note 7 64GB is £749 RRP. They just hide how much a 256GB model would cost by not offering that much built in.

US price excludes sales tax which varies from state to state. ours is 20%, so that makes it $1162, which is about £870

then there's that we aren't as big or rich a market as the US, so we pay more.

Brexit hasn't started yet, though and the more sober commentators are advising not to read too much into the current fillip in the economic stats. Once Article 50 is invoked and the horsetrading starts the £ is expected to head towards parity with the $.

Apple tends not to make microadjustments month to month in pricing for currency swings so has set its stall out for where it reckons the pound will be by next year.

Still, given that this year's offering is little more than a speed bump, a larger reduction in the $ prices would have been fairer. Cannot see too many in Europe forking out all that for the higher end models.

only because you've essentially paid for 2 or 3 phones when first buying an iCrap product.

Samsung handsets are equally as expensive (and they explode)!

Q. How do I combat rising prices for goods that are essentially luxury items?

A. Don't buy them and force prices down.

As long as the cult of Apple is eagerly followed then they will happily help you part you with your money and with you eagerly doing so.

Having a whip round to pay their tax bill.

Exactly this.

Fools and their money are soon parted.
