Make money by searching the web!

2 weeks ago I found a seach engine that pays you to search the web, basically you download the search engine and set it as your homepage, then everytime you do a search through your home page you get PAID, between 2.7 pence to 3.1 pence per search, it doesn't sound like a lot but I have made £15 in the last 14 days. just for doing what I normally do, it is a bit slower than Google, but Google don't pay you.
the website is:- mysearchfunds.com

Have you actually received any money from this?

I'm untrusting, I'm afraid!

I saw this on rpoints, sounds interesting but not sure if anyone's been paid yet. Surely there must be some limit of number of searches per day?
#3
people in other forums have been payed, and some of them have been with this company for 2 years, the way it works is when you do a search and you get the results, the company splits the profits from the sponsored links 50/50 with you, you don't even have to click on the sponsored links (but it helps).

Cant you automate a program to auto search the dictionary for you........

no their isn't, so long as it isn't click fraud, clicking anything without regard for results ect, as they employ high tech software to check for this, one greedy person on the forum does 120 searches per day, he received a email from the search engine, warning him he was under investigation for click fraud, but he wasn't banned from the site?, I regularly do 30 to 40 searches per day and I've had no problems so far.:w00t:

I'm always wary of these sites that promise to pay you all this money for little effort, but you never know.

One that I had heard of was a youtube style site called MetaCafe that does something called 'Producer Rewards', basically if you upload a video that proves a hit you get money. I think it has restrictions as far as copyright issues and copying others videos. Never tried it but it seems interesting.

and how do i download the search engine got a link?

I was suspicious at first, so I researched it before joining, all you need is a email address to get it, your account updates every 24 hours and is encripted, already today I've done 41 searches, trying to find information about the "Gateway PC GT5056 B for £199.99" posted on this site, but to no avail, at least I get payed for looking though.

Yep, what do you mean clicking anything without regard for results?

This one does sound interesting, should be relatively quick and easy to do. You think 30 minutes searching a day is worth a grand a year?

Works out at £5.50 an hour. But it's easy money that can be done at the same time as watching tv/looking after the kids. As long as it tracks and they don't get funny about 100 searches being done per day?

The site Benjimoron is on about says this

This says you can earn a whopping £50.00 per year ( or in excess of):?

That was based on an average surfer wasn't it?

If you did loads of searches (assuming there is no limit) then you could earn more.

that works out at only 4 to 5 searches per day? for a whole year, I have already done 512 in 16 days which is a average of 32 per day, and every one has tracked perfectly, something "daily clicks" don't do at all, so I have given up on them, I try to do my searches spread throughout the day, if you do more than 1 to 2 in a minute they may well dissallow them, I always click through to a website from the results so it looks genuine, as they can dissallow searches up to 45 days after you did them, take it steady and experiment and report your finding to this thread to help everyone out.

amount earned up to:- 6/2/08 £17.21 for 576 searches (started 20/1/08)
searches 5/2/08 47.

What info?

30 minutes searching = 100 searches

100 searches = £3.00/day

£3.00/day = ~ £1000/year!

have we concluded if anyone had been paid for this?

there's something similar on page 26 of today's (Tuesday's) Sun - a bloke won £5k for entering a video on www.clipstar.com and has now been entered into the "Grand Final" to potentially win £500k.
