A few months ago i bought a Acekard 2i card for a friend because he didn't have paypal and didn't quite know what to buy. Anyway his daughter updated the firmware of the console to 1.4i rendering the card useless. He is now annoying me to fix it :-(

I've had a quick look on the internet and it's making no sense to me, has anyone out there fixed an Acekard to work on a updated DSi.

You can do it on a DS lite.
I haven't done it myself, as most people that I know were sensible, and didn't buy a DSi.

Cheers for info, rep added as promised

I've told him to take it his DSi back to where he got it from and get another one. It's his fault end of the day but tbh i should have told him not to update, but then again i didn't know that either. Anyway cheers for your help, couldn't find anything like that when i search the internet
