Its a friends birthday in about 2 weeks & she was saying what she wanted today.

The list went something like...

Diamond Ring
Zack Effron
A yellow mini with black roof
A cake
A boat that we went on the other week
Pearl Necklace
few other bits on it that I cant remember too...

She wrote them all down joking but we intend to fulfill her requirements!

A cheap tacky ring shouldnt be a problem.

For Zack we are going to try & scrounge one of the lifesize cut outs from the conema for 17 Again as it finishes showing this week.

The boat we are going to take her back up there & go out on it again.

Necklace can be knocked up cheaply too.

We got stuck with the mini, thought about Airfix or something but then decided to combine it with the cake which is where we got stuck.

The shape could be made from various pieces put togerther & shaped with a knife.

Icing would be used for the colours & sweets for lights etc, but we have no idea how to do it really.

Does anyone have any ideas how we could get the icing sorted so that it could mould around the cake to give the colours.

Also, how could the different pieces be stuck together if we made the sponge from thinner bits & then carved it?

Between the 3 of us we have little cooking experience so it will probably turn out dodgy but as long as we have something to give.

So any help would be apreciated as it is definately needed & we want to really suprise her!

Thanks alot

James

If you buy pre rolled icing you'll just have to shape/mould it to the cake yourself.

Or you could all just chip in and buy her one seeing as you're 'knocking up' the other items from what sounds like the pound shop or a giant xmas cracker.
