I am always seeing loads of products from the hottest deals on ebay - I found loads of these http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/590998/citizen-eco-drive-chronograph-gents?page=9 on ebay today (some people selling 20 or more) - how many people use HUD as a second income? I bought one of these watches today from Argos just glad I got in before the ebayers.

hukd isn't the only deal site on the internet and some people who work at argos also buy these things to sell on ebay, with that said though im sure loads of people find things through here and sell them to make a few quid.

My friend does this regularly. He buys mainly computer games, using this site and a couple of others. However the idea is an old one, and there is many people who have the same idea.

he makes a few quid here and there but he says it is hard work, as there is a lot of competition. He managed to buy 20x ghostbusters wii from play I think before Xmas for 7.97 each. He said he sold the first few for £16 but then somebody came in and started selling them at £10, and the last few he sold at pennies above what he had paid.

With the extortionate fees, postage etc he made about £25 from selling 20 games.

I couldnt be bothered with the hassle tbh

As above though, savvy workers at shops always get the best - i.e my uncle who works at pc world bought clearance end of line sansa 2gb mp3 players for 47p each. Sold all 11 on ebay for £19 each now thats the way to make profit.

However it should be pointed out that the site is meant to save people money! Not make it for other people!

i've used cex to get a few quid for a few things on here, guyver box set was the main one, i brought 9 copies at 17.89 i think it was, and cex gave me 36 voucher per issue, so i traded all 9 in for my 324 voucher and brought my ps3 and some games etc with it.

nice attitude

profiteering if frowned upon in HUKD....its because of people who buy 'deals' in bulk to sell on for a profit, that the genuine people miss out on.

seem to be doing just fine at the moment....

just saying, out of 100 people, you're the two exceptions who wouldnt pay £20 pounds to get £100....

it's as simple as that. If theres money to be made, then make it. You both have jobs i assume? by that i mean money isnt an issue to you? because what do you think the people who pay your wages are doing..... Everyone's out to shaft everyone else in business..... nothing's going to change. period.

no i dont have a job, and money has always been an issue for us, and i never said anything about buying to sell on, what pees me off is coming on here bragging about it, and then wonders why people who genuinely wanted something get peed off, also its members who bulk buy that get good deals pulled because they are quickly picked up

well you've probably got that wrong,

Out of the 12000 people on the site, 1800 are 'members' and 10200 are just watching,

I can guarentee that most of the users 'lurking' online are just looking for a bargain to trade with, most of the members on here dont......

they don't need to create an account, they're not bothered in any other aspect other than finding a profittering deal.... i think you're problem with out of stock items because of this lies there.

and i think you need to rearead, never mentioned out of stock items, i mentioned them getting pulled, ie withdrawn, bulk buys get picked up, and like i said, do what ya like but dont post on here bragging and expect to be congratulated
#14
not looking for praise, it cost me less than half the price it would if i went into the shop and paid for it instead of trading in an item 'in bulk'

If im disliked over saving 200 quid....who cares. i'm 200 quid better off than i would of been if i followed your philosophy and brought one, so someone else can go and buy 8 more themselves....

its not about the money, yes i have job....but who doesnt need a bit of extra cash...i'm just saying that people get greedy when they bulk buy and then companies will put the price of the product back to normal price, meanining genuine people miss out on a deal they may have been waiting for!

Dont forget greed is the ultimate downfall of most people!!!!

so why isn't this getting slated ?

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/593421/take-out-life-insurance-tesco-and-g

full of 'proftieers' no?

but who is a 'genuine' person, most of these that go out of stock quick are misprices, and never get honoured anyway, and if they are a geniune price, then they WILL go back to that price again or be matched?
