i'm pretty much resigned to the fact MU will win, but im looking forward to us going down, would rather we get relegated so we can have a season of parachute money, rebuilding with the Anelka cash, and win loads of games, straight back up. Got a feeling we wont get relegated though tbh so anothr boring season from August.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7099689.stm your turn to win, anyway, seeing how we beat you last time round

I see what you did there

Just hope the scum get beaten and kicked about, no harm in wanting that. After all everybody hates the scum.

Spurs are not playing Ars*nal though! :whistling:

Will be hoping they win though. Only 7 minutes to kick off - and dont you just love Premiere Sports on Satelite!

I had to laugh at the Fergusson mind games today having a go at Davies. Yes, he's probably a rough player - but hes a typical centre foward. Does he expect him to wear to Tutu? He obviously doesnt watch his own players. Rooney is an angel !!!! And of course he never saw anything that Roy Keane ever did! (And admitted to!)

oi you! can I remind you that many teams struggle to get a result against us over the last five seasons (honours are even split IIRC), we beat Arsenal 3-1 last season for example despite being a team from a small town with a small fanbase as we're surrounded by a high concentration of teams (Wigan, Manchesterx2, Blackburn, Liverpool, Everton, and many lower league teams are all within a short drive), we've had three consecutive top eight finishes, have just finished a decent UEFA cup run despite having a **** manager Sammy 'not Tommy' Lee for much of it, and are still playing well despite losing the best English manager around (please, nobody can fix Newcastle, not even Allardyce). We were promoted from div 1 with 100 goals and 98 points, and despite every bloody pundit tipping us for the drop every season, we're still in the Prem. Back when we were in Div 1 we beat a good Spurs team 6-1 in a cup run, and we had what was considered to be 'a **** team'.

Nobody hates us, most teams are scared of playing us, we've got a ginger manager and the legend that is Campo- who takes 10 mins to run from one end of the pitch to the other, flies back to Spain every two weeks to get his haircut because no barber in the UK can handle his megaperm, and we love him so much that the club employs one of his mates as a 'professional friend' so he doesn't get bored. In short, we're awesome pal!

oi you this is me!
Point taken.........maybe I didnt give Bolton the credit they deserved but c'mon if you remember a result against Arsenal 12 months ago that says a lot.

So a 2-0 defeat tonight is a good result for you?

Bring back big Sam or get Ian Holloway when Leicester get rid of him at the end of the season

Just be thankful Spurs are helping you out!!! :)

Could oh so easily have been 5-4 in the end. You would have bet your shirt on Berby scoring on the 6 yard line in the 2nd minute of injury time. Fantastic save from Cudichini though.

Only sour points. Cole should have been sent off. That was a disgraceful challenge on Hutton. And Huddlestone - cut out the diving. Just 'cos Drogba gets away with it, we don't like cheats!

lol, yup this season has been poor for us- but most fans will remember a systematic dismantling of a great Arsenal side for a long time eh  and tbh I stopped looking at the results the day Sammy Lee was announced for the season (have lived in Cardiff for years now and so not had a season ticket since the 99 season).
Am back watching again as I think Megson is a good manager, he was credible at WBA and has Prem experience- Olly may be a good mouthpiece but has no prem experience. I want us to go down, Gartside will flow the Anelka money and the prem parachute cash into the new players we need to bounce back up next season with a bunch of big wins, entertaining football, and a squad ready to go again. If we don't go down it's another couple of seasons of relegation battles.

Anyway, lived most of my life half mile from Old Trafford so i'd rather see the mighty reds win the Prem than anyone else. Good game, thats one win each this season.
