C'mon United.

Looks like Boro will be playing their derbies with Newcastle in the Championship next season. Very poor side, only one or two of their players are good enough to play in the Premier League.

they have loads of players that are good enough for the league, i just don't think they know how to play with each other.

Apart from Downing and Tuncay, and possibly Aliadiere the rest of the team are brock. Suppose it doesn't help when they have Gareth Southgate as a manager too though.

wouldnt mind if they put up a fight
no one made a tackle
they should be fighting but guess they not bothered they go down and players can get a transfer no pride

Doesnt really matter to be honest, the team will go down and the top players will move on.
They are not passionate for any team-as long as they are in the prem.
Hard to take in but thats reality

Agree 100%. Theres very little loyalty in modern day football. Players now are mercenaries and will follow the pound signs rather than play for the badge.

In any other job they will be fired for not trying hard enough, I remember when West Ham were relegated, DeFoe handed in his transfer request on the same day and others followed straight after, very low times and I do feel sorry for any team who goes down (apart from Newcs)

O'Shea is starting to annoy me. All he appears to have done this match is moan, throwing his arms all over when Macheda was trying to find players. Hes just had a shot then, rebounded off him and out for a goal kick, so who's he turn to? Rooney!

O'Shea - get a grip!

Every team needs a John O'Shea. If Liverpool had a player like John O'Shea they would already be champions FACT. :-D

I don't mind him, its just the fact this match he has moaned alot. Macheda for instance, still getting used to playing in the first team and he has lost the ball a few times tbh....but O'Shea should be giving him confidence and congratulating his efforts.

I was looking at this fixture as a possible slip up for United but thats them through it safely. 7 points from our remaining games and its all over.

boro?potential slip-up?thats LFC's job!lol!still reckon itl be close, think arsenal have a great chance in the league against you lot...anyway wouldve settled for a title challenge at the start of the season, and will be happy if we win our remaining games-even if we dont win the league(obv id love to win the league tho!)

Done and Dusted by then. and if they play like they played on wednesday, they havent got a chance.

I thought this would have been our hardest remaining game, been a though place for us past couple of years, didnt even break a sweat!

Im a newcastle fan until tomorrow afternoon now.

Face reality Scousers, It's over, It was over when you drew 4-4 with ARSEnal.

We may lose against ARSEnal but still win the other 3 games and it's game over.

Our 2 hard fixtures are at Old Trafford

Against City and ARSEnal.

Were currently level on goal difference as well, So we could providing we score a few more goals lose 2 games out the remaining 4 and still win it.

Also The Pile have still got to win all their remaining games.

Game over.

I have seen Boro perform much worse in the league this season, they were much better today than they were against Arsenal last week, this week it looked like we could score. But that is our problem, no one can score. I have no idea why Southgate is playing our best player and best goalscorer in the middle of midfield?????. No suprise we are in this position. Walkers Stadium here we come.
