Chel-$ki = Bunch of old men in defence, Slow,.

Easy, Easy, Easy

Hernandez = Future legend, What a signing, Scored in every game he's played so far, Even against United for his old club...!!!
#7
His goal was lucky, too early to call him a "legend"

Gutted - I had united to win 2-1.

Trust Berbatov to score his only goal this season to scupper my bet.

An easy win come the end.

This particular goal was lucky, but his positioning and pre-season performance suggest he's gonna be a great player for United.

If he continues he will be a legend, Obviously a long way to go but he looks such a great player.

Most defo going to be the quickest player in the Premiership as he was in the World Cup.

Might be his only goal but if he sets 30+ up that's fine with me, He's also had a good pre season, This could be his year.

Ok some might say that kicking the ball into your own face to score a goal as lucky, me well I like to call it good positioning X)

Cole had a good game :p

Shame he lacks absolute quality and doesn't have a football brain.

Well statistics do suggest that, It'll be a close call though.

Just Googled "Javier Hernadez Speed" and "Theo Walcott Speed"

Hernadez 19.98 mph with the ball and Theo Walcott 22.72 mph probably with out.

However Rooney's speed is supposedly 21.82 mph so I guess that's with out the ball as no way is Rooney faster than Hernadez.

So on second thought perhaps Hernadez is going to be the fastest player after all, We shall see.

The community shield is a nothing competition so I wasn't that bothered about the result, and our pre-season results have hardly been stellar so I thought we were always going to struggle. Hopefully the reality check a few players needed.

Well I'd agree the Charity shield is a nothing game, but regardless, I could never bet against my team even if I thought the result is likely to be a defeat.

Speed ain't everything though, Walcott being a case in point.

Agreed, but glad to see that Hernandez has scored a couple already in pre-season added to the 2 he scored in the world cup, looks like hes a good natural finisher, I reckon he can get anywhere between 10 and 20 goals this season

Of coarse speed isn't everything but a clear advantage and adds a new dimension to United's play.

Which excites me, From what I've seen of him preseason and World Cup he's looked sheer class.

Finally we have a set of strikers that are available to play and no major injuries with them. Hopefully it will be Berba's year otherwise I see us getting rid of him.
[mod]#25
Rooney, Macheda, Berba, Owen and Hernandez (forgetting Welbeck as he is dire). Not bad strikers to have at your disposal. No other Premiership club has that strength in depth upfront.
#26
Hopefully they buy Mesut Ozil, couple of years and he will be one of the best players in the world ;)
