We can only hope that it has all gone wrong for them:w00t: but I expect them to recover and finish in the top 3

This has got to be the most upto date post ever :p

I'm a big Arsenal fan and Man Utd isn't exactly my favourite team (i like all teams though, as long as they're entertaining) it's not even been 10% of the season, yet people seem to think it's all over for them.

Anyone that knows anything about football knows that the start of the season is just a confidence booster and getting all the new players to try and gel.
Don't forget that if they beat Tottenham tomorrow, then they're only a couple points behind a champions league position and the same goes for Tottenham being 1 point behind, so all is not lost, despite playing a game more.

This is why i don't understand why people try and place so much importance on the first few games and on top of that, they force unneccessary pressure on there manager.

Martin Jol publicly annouced he felt the pressure, even before the season had kicked off because of the amount of money the board has allowed him to spend and he does seem like someone that can't handle too much pressure or finds it difficult to cope when the going gets tough, so i advise the fans not to get on his back tomorrow because i can't see them beating Utd at Old Trafford.

If anyone remembers the 1997/98 season, some bookies even paid out there punters because they believed Man Utd had already won the league but then Arsenal won 10 games in a row to overhall them and take the title and Man Utd did the same to us a few years ago as well, so remember, there's still plenty of time to get back into the title race and all great teams go on a strong run at some point in the season. :)

I could be wrong here but the last time Manu lost their first 3 games they went on to win the title with an unbeaten run.I don't like manu either but its to early to say its allover for them. But saying that back then there was no Chelsea who hardly ever drop any points to keep the pressure up.Now if you fall 7-10 points behind you will struggle to keep up.

Every team has a dip in the season and United's is always before christmas! this is just a bit earliar than normal!

Anyone who thinks the seasons over because we have 2 points is just insane! once we find our shooting boots we'll climb the table easily! anyone who watched the games will know that we outplayed reading, pompey and city!

The performance is their, just not the goals! but they will come

Now you sound like us Arsenal supporters. :giggle:

I'm not 100% sure but i think we've created the most chances in how many years but we don't always put them away and everyone knows that we're one of the most entertaining teams in the world but unfortunately, it's points that matter.
