I'm excited and vision nothing but a United victory, Time to bring City down to earth with a bang.

It'll be tough with all City's strikers, Oh wait Adebayor is suspended, T£v£$ is a doubt and Robinho has lost interest.

Come on you mighty Reds...!!!

Probable starting XIs:

Man Utd: Foster, O'Shea, Evans, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Fletcher, Anderson, Valencia, Berbatov, Rooney.

Man City: Given, Richards, Bridge, Toure, Lescott, De Jong, Barry, Ireland, Wright-Phillips, Petrov, Bellamy.

I'm happy that Manchester has got another top team again, but I'll be even happier come 4 o'clock and the reds are marching onwards with their heads up high!!

Now you see obviously I want a man utd win, but whatever you think of City, or how they've got to where they are, they are gonna be top 4 this season, and today is a tough tough match.

I still think we'll win, but I think you need to be careful being too cocky.

Obviously you will be here come 4pm to say 'well done City' should the impossible happen?

Oh, and I think it's hilarious the way Tevez has gone from a United favourite to traitor because the 'mighty reds' weren't prepared to pay what he's worth.

he's no traitor in my eyes.

I wish he had chosen somewhere else, but you can't blame him too much.

They did the double 2 years ago with a lesser team, even accounting for missing players, so don't bank on it. There could still be some disappointed/quiet/sick/embarrassed/missing United fans come 4pm.

We offered him the sums wanted but he'd already decided he was leaving, We just took too long, Perhaps because theirs no way he's worth £25 million which is the fee that was required.

In truth he's too good to be just a squad player however he could of gone anywhere but City or Liverpool and I'd of been happy.

He's a work horse, He gives 100% every game, Even if that's not good enough which at times it wasn't, Not when we've already got Rooney, Who really can show Tevez how it's done and he's English which is a bonus.

I cant wait to see city get beat, Mark Hughes has a very short memory but will more than likely be on the dole queue by the end of the season when they dont win anything......

Makes me laugh, some of them over on the Liverpool forums want Man U to win, because they think City are title challengers! :giggle:

Shame City have so many players out. If they didn't then I'm sure United fans would actually be a bit more worried.

I think it will be a draw 1-1, with city to score 1st.

Ferguson refused to pay the transfer fee. Hughes paid it. That's probably to do with having a £750M debt! At least they managed to pay this years interest by selling Ronaldo!:whistling:

I think it's more to do with the fact that the transfer fee was far too high, nothing to do with the debt

either way utd haven't treated him badly like was suggested above

I doubt that to be honest. Same goes for selling Ronaldo.

Ive seen him being labelled a traitor numerous times and had things thrown at him, so it doesn't suggest the fans who once idolised him still have him on their Xmas card list. Look at the contrast when Keane went to Liverpool... he was warmly applauded by the Spurs fans - Berbatov - certainly wasnt. Tevez didnt want to leave... but united refused to pay. In my book Utd fans shouldn't have an axe to grind with Tevez.
