One of my most favourite authors Andy, gripping books, sometimes a bit gruesome, I don't have Sky, but I'd watch it if I did!

yep read ladykiller

I started reading these books because of where they're set. She's a good writer, I really felt for her characters.

I havent seen the tv programme.. is it any good?
#7
Erm, you've got time to watch TV Andy???

Thought HUKD was a 24/7 role :p

Fantastic isn't it? The first book of hers I read, been hooked ever since, some of them are really harrowing, but honestly, she is such a good storyteller, pick up one of her books and you just HAVE to keep reading:thumbsup:

dunno yet lol, watch now, do think with book adaptations it often depends whether you read the book or watch the film first as to whether you enjoy

yes, it can be a lil rough at times.

Not gonna say where we are, more exactly than that, but I know lots of the places she mentions in the books v well.

lol, I lived in London for a while, not very long, but the memories are still with me, met some characters there, I can tell you:whistling::p

it's definitely full of those lol

It would be so much cheaper to move away but we have so many ties here now, with the kids schools and work and everything.

lol, I met a few she described, scary, I was young and naive at the time, didn't know better, looking back I can't believe it, but hey, people are people, we all have a heart and a pulse lol, I shall say no more:whistling:

yep everyone's someones baby :)

oh, tell me about it, I'm back in my home town after quite a rough time, I hate it, but my kids are settled, so here I stay, until they decide to do their own thing and then maybe I can do my own thing again, lol!!! Here's hoping!!!

I've been drumming it into their heads, no men, no babies, focus, focus, education, travel, life!!!!

Anything else will follow:p

that is exactly what I'm waiting for too... kids leave home and i'm gonna go loopy lol

lol, defo, maybe one day, I'll detatch my heart from my brain and meet the right one:p

LOL, nah, most of the people I met in London, were just 'friends' I am so pleased to have met them tho', when my daughters grow up and want to travel, and do their thing, I can give them a good lecture, safe in the knowledge, that I have been there, done that:whistling:

They will listen to me, mwahahahahaha

I hope anyway, and if they don't I'll be here to pick up the pieces, lol.

Here's hoping that doesn't happen, without blowing my own trumpet, I like to think I'm pretty honest with my kids, I'm not perfect, but I've made mistakes they can learn from, lol. I have no regrets because of that, it's a learning curve, which means I have the experience to advise them, lol.

My mother took pride in being a goody goody, very strict, well, obviously being a kid I rebelled, say no more:whistling:

I wasn't too bad actually, quite straight as it happens, but nonetheless................

It's so hard raising kids. I love mine so much, yet they make me wanna pull my hair out so many times!!

They're oh so cute till they hit the wall of hormones and then all hell breaks loose lol
