Riot inducing Nazism doesn't factor in things for one second of thought.
It's ridding a nation of those that have entered illegally.
Emphasis on the illegally.
In addition, there should be tighter border controls to help prevent it in the future.
So what it it takes a little more time to get through passport controls.

I'm a man of percentages over absolutes when dealing with the thousands and millions, isn't that why Australia bans all imports of seeds and plant matter through baggage at the airports?

1600/6000 is about 25%, better than individual vetting.
