Its good, but I really can't be arsed with the hassle anything connected to Phones4U would entail
#4
That's some tasty cashback! Couldn't you downgrade the contract during the period of the agreement to save some further £s?

i'm tempted but have heard a lot of bad things about phones4u - One question though do you think you would get the unlimited mobile browsing included with this as orange include it on all of their £35+ p/m tariffs for 18 months - But as its not directly through orange would you still be eligible? I've never been with orange before so i have no idea what they offer

I am running a cashback deal with phones4u atm and have
not had any problems.

I think the deal comes with £175 cashback OR 11 months half price line rental
not both?

Hi,
I'm very interested in this deal, but I'm not sure whether it is in fact correct. On the website it lists two deals for this price plan, one for £175 quidco and one for 11 months half price. Am I correct to assume that these are two separate deals and cannot be combined?

simon012 i think your right - i just clicked through to almost the checkout stage and if you go through the link from quidco the offer doesn't mention anything about the extra redemption cashback as well - so it looks like its one or the other - unless you can adjust the address from the quidco link. That definately makes the deal a lot less enticing and may need to get the deal description changed

I cannot get both deals up at the same time.
If you have the £175 exclusive quidco cashback it mentions nothing about
the 11 month half price line rental..........

This is false.

This is true.

The deal is QUIDCO ONLY rather than QuidCo and half-price line rental. The idea being that if you don't trust Phones4U with cashback you can do the QuidCo deal instead.

Unfortunately, HUKD doesn't allow deals which rely on cashback-only sites such as QuidCo, and therefore this has to be moved to Misc...

and remember quidco cashback isnt guarenteed either, or is it?

This doesn't work. You'll only get £60 QuidCo.

Supposedly it is with sureshop. It's upto people to decide whether or not they trust Phones4U on it.

sureshop does not guarentee payment

Quidco are paying it off their own backs though aren't they if the sureshop merchant fails to respond to a claim...

One or tuther by the looks of things.

With this sureshop thing I think Quidco pay if they don't respond but if they do respond and say don't pay then you're not going to get paid are you?

Hi Guys,

This seems to my like a really good deal espcially as i was wanting to get a HTC Diamond anyway, so I signed up on Monday night. It has not tracked in quidco as yet, had anybody elses tracked?

Also I was chatting with someone from the orange website via there interactive chat applet, and was asking about the new "unlimited mobile internet browsing" on all tariffs over £35, the guy told me that this was exclusive to the orange website and if i sign up to the same tariff with Phones 4U I will not get this free internet browsing.

Can anyone confirm if this is right or just his way of making me buy though the orrange site as if so I think i will have to be cancling my order.

Thanks

Paul

sassie
quidco could you please confirm as to if a sureshop merchant declines your transaction if quidco pay out, i have re-read it a few times and i get that quidco will pay out if no resolution has been made, i also read it as a declined payment is a resolution

Quidco
Hi sassie, Quidco only pay cashback when we receive commission from the merchant for a valid sale for which we are the referrer. We receive no commission for declined transactions, so we would pay no cashback for them. I think where you might be getting confused is the new SureShop 2.0 process for enquiries, in which a transaction is created when an earnings enquiry is submitted. Within 60 days, that transaction will either validate (indicating a successful resolution to the enquiry) or decline (indicating an unsuccessful resolution to the enquiry.) There is more information here.

This has now disappeared from the quidco website. I ordered this morning, but it hasn't tracked yet. DO you think it's likely the cashback will come through?
