The masters 2011 is about to get underway, played on what is considered to be the number 1 golf course in the world with private members such as Bill gates and alike, who will win the coveted green jacket this year?

Will Tiger woods jump ship and run off with a hottie from the crowd?

Will Luke Donald turn his par 3 success into a major win in the US?

I can't wait for the tournament to begin.....

All the above is his masters record/stats & he's be out of the Top 6 on 6 occasions, but has not been out of the Top 6 in the last 6 years.I just think with tiger these days he can hit a 64 then the following day he can hit a 74, so to hot & cold for me this year.

I do agree with your comments about his scores being up and down,
thats for me what makes the bet interesting !!
I've gone £10 ew.

If he's only a couple of shots of the leader on the final day then i would like to be on him, because he will not freeze like most golfers do.

That is very true, think it could be a new winner this year though, someone from outside the world top 20..... May place some cheeky little bets later.
#15
McIlroy takes the clubhouse lead with an awesome opening round of 65...

Martin Kaymer with a disappointing 78
#16
Shows how much I know, I was looking at the odds for Rory earlier and they were great. Is anyone buying tickets for next year? You can apply for any day but if you get them you can only go to one day! Thinking of applying, once in a lifetime trip to watch this.

On another note anyone going to the open this year? its right next to my old club :D
#17
I don't think the wee man's ready for a major, but you never know.

I have not got my ticket yet, as unfortunately I moved away, but to see players on the course next to my old one would be great, think I have to go!!

I can't wait for the live BBC coverage over the next couple of days, streaming online sucks big time!! Watch yesterdays highlights properly, course seems in good nick, but can't seem to help thinking some of the fairway grass looks slightly long

I think Tiger along with my tenner are pretty much dead and buried now...

So cmon Rors! If he shoots -2 today, it's over... however If anyone can catch him Angel can

Exciting finish awaits... particularly the legendary back 9
#38
C'mon rory bring it home lad....
#39
Good luck Rory - it's yours to lose! Level par should be enough, but I sense a 65/66 from someone is going to pile the pressure on. Choi is dangerous and you can never write off Tiger !!!

C'mon Donald and Fisher - lets make it a clean sweep and lock out the yanks !!!
