Given some members speciality dishes are Lobster and Microchips, I thought it would be fun to see what other people would make if they were on masterchef..... doesnt have to be fancy, just what your good at cooking/preparing.

Starter - Chicken and Sweetcorn soup (Chinese Style), Mines better than the ****** takeaway

Starter... i'm not sure :(... Main would be beef stroganoff, pudding banoffee pie. :)
i know how to cook them and they are easy :D

Starter - Mixed salad leaves with sauteed asparagus covered with shaved parmesan and sprinkled with balsamic vinegar

Main - Home made fishcakes with boiled new potatoes and broccoli

Dessert - a Magnum

Starter - leek & potato soup ( although pretty much a meal in itself)
Main - cheese& ham stuffed chicken breast wrapped in Pancietta ham with garlic tomato dressing,
Pudding - Juniors New York Cheesecake

students dont have starters or deserts lol

but anyways

starters - soup maybe or some melon and fruit

mains - roast chicken with a leak and bacon sauce over the top with veg and potatoes :)
or in colder weather some good old irish stew

desert - strawberry cheesecake

We did this for valentines day (it's the only time i participate in the cooking!) All homemade..
Starter, me = mushrooms in garlic sauce on posh green leaf things. Him = mini chiken kievs.
Main, beef wellington with cheesy mash and veg
Desert, (this was my area of things) whacked the chocolate fountain on, and had strawberries, marshmallows and fudge bites on skewers :)

diced pancietta
honey glazed ham
pineapple
smokey bacon bits
diced chicken
mini pork balls
A vegetarian nightmare Im afraid!

hmmmmm,

starter would be griddled aparagus with palma ham

main - lobster (see tesco) in coconut milk (with ginger, garlic, lime leaves etc) and a sweet potato mash with green beans.

pudding - panatone bread and butter pudding

I want to go home and cook now.
