160 people live in a village. Of these, 60 are adults and 100 are children.
Work out the ratio of adults to children in lowest terms.
How do I do this?

Find a common number that goes into both. So 20.
Then 60 / 20 = 3
and 100 / 20 = 5

3 : 5 ratio
