s'ok. nice to see a question i can do...

currently stuck on

sin2x= tanx1-cos2x

currently stuck on

sin2x= tanx1-cos2x

Also 42.........

:-D

= xxxxxx

6x

x6

x = 6 wut? lol

9x=3x+36

6x=36

x=6

spot on bud :thumbsup:

:-D

cheers. i've got no other answer to put down.

* several days later wastes time explaining to teacher why he put down 42... well i posted it on a maths forum and this really clever man told me... *

currently stuck on

sin2x= tanx1-cos2x

Using the double angle fourmulae would make that simpler to work out. :thumbsup:

9x-3x=41-5

6x=36

x=6

Teaching Intermediate one maths!

+1 :oops:

i've got it to

1= tanxtanx

so

1= tan2x (tan squared x) but not sure then. will leave it there me thinks....

im 14 , and i can do this !!!

I left school years ago. Not something I use everyday!! No doubt the majority are the same.

True && things are changing !!

currently stuck on

sin2x= tanx1-cos2x

sin2x - tanx =

2sinxcosx - sinx/cosx =

sinx(2cosx - 1/cosx) =

0

So sinx = 0, which happens when x = 0,180 or

2cosx = 1/cosx

cosx = +/-(1/root2)

x = 45, 135, 225, 315

sin(2x)= tanx1-cos(2x)

or is it

sin^2(x)= tanx1-cos^2(x)

--------------(sin squared x )over (1 minus cos squared x) equals tan(x)

Nothing learnt from easy answers babe:)

im not cheating !!!! :w00t:

i knew the answer but some one told me another answer and i was sure mine was right but there both right lol !!

im not bad at algerbra :)
