Maximiles : Beware!

Maximiles formally known as iPoints has been a total disappointment. The site follows the idea of a cash back site other than they award you points which pay out at just under 1/3 of what they receive from the affiliate/advertiser. Since I joined about a year ago back when it was under the iPoints flag it had a decent payout rate of above 75%.

I am coming to the end of using them, I was saving my points for something worthwhile but all they offer now is junk with the same number of points affording worse and worse 'rewards' every week. The support staff leave you what always sounds like an automated message and most of the time they do not get back to you about the query.

I would advise like most of the members here to use quidco as they actually pay out at a decent rate, £5 commission is nothing when they are offering me about £20 of vouchers for what I know is about £64 of points.

Anyone else also had a bad experience with them?

I am a member of that site, but always try topcashback or quidco first (as I would rather have the £ rather than points)

Only time I use it is for collecting points on my weekly online shopping (cant get cashback anywhere else, go through mysupermarket and get ipoints) and I click through the emails.

I have had £20 in vouchers and a magazine subscription worth £20 this year. Got around 1900 points currently. Only problem I have had is that the magazine subscription didnt arrive, but that was through a fault at the magazines end not maximiles and when I contacted maximiles I got a quick response, they looked into it and sorted it out for me

maximiles gave me £10 in argos vouchers just for doing my grocery shopping for 6 months via mysupermarket
