I'm going there tomorrow and I've only been there the once, was a few years back now, maybe 2003?

I'm going by train and I recall going 1 way sort of to the left to get to the Assembley Hall Theatre and then further down I went into Royal Victoria Place shopping centre, how far would it take to walk from train station to say the theatre then the shopping centre,as I'm going there after a show from theatre and would like a rough idea.
Also I'm going to Pizza Express later which I recall was in right direction after coming out of train station area, how far is that way on foot from train station?

I'd look on Google Earth but I'm useless at using it!

Google Maps isn't difficult to figure out. Try spending more than a couple of minutes playing with it, and you'll have the answer for yourself. Gmaps is an essential tool in my world, so I think it's well worth learning how to use it.

Just wondering if you can get the info from multi map.

Or Visitor Information site.

Why can you not just try and learn for yourself?

Come out the station and turn left head up the steep hill. It will be about a 5 minute walk to the traffic lights and you will see the Town Hall and Assembly Hall Theatre on your right. If you carry straight over at the lights you are probably talking another 5 minute walk to the Victoria Place Shopping Centre.

Hope that helps.

You certainly won't need a bus, just a ski lift for the hill :) and an umbrella.

I can't remember it being too hilly, but it's been a while now and when you get around as much as I do you do forget what the area is like and can get mixed up with elsewhere in way of directions and walking times. Anyway used to hills where I am so be ok.
Hope it is dry tomorrow!

But you're not even trying. I don't begrudge anyone for not being capable of things, but to not even try I think is shameful. How do you think anyone gets to be good or perfect at anything? You've got to try.

Wasn't commenting about what you put,but Dimes response.I don't like using it cos its fiddly and my mind not into making the effort and I often find it freezes up for some reason anyway, and I had a lot to do today and would been grateful if someone knew the info,as it happens someone does know so it save me getting my partner to check it later.

Just as I'm willing to help someone to upload a pic onto the site,it's no biggy is it to return/ask 4 help.

The poor woman only wanted some advice from somebody local to the area. She was asking directions not an extra thick slice of fruitcake.
