Maybe ill

Just wondering any remedies, my doctors closed to Wednesday and im sick, coughing bad and almost been sick a few times(worst is when vomit reached almost all the way up and goes back down so I taste it)

Was asked if I was ok at shop today when I went to get milk just after I got off train and asked if I wanted to sit down and have a glass of water. Then a few minutes later was asked if I was ok by a girl passing on the street.

I have a really bunged up nose but that goes away easily with nose drops(of which I have none!) and the worst is the cough that really hurts my throat and chest and it occurs when I move about a lot or drink or eat.

Any temp remedys? I have cough mixture but no nose drops.

For your nose, trying breathing in steam. Put boiling water in a bowl, and then lean over it with a towel covering both your head and the bowl and breath the steam through your nose. Careful you don't burn yourself though.

Also, if you have lemons in the house, squeeze some lemon juice in hot water and mix in some honey. If you don't have honey, just have the lemon and hot water (you may need to add a spoonful of sugar if it's too sharpe).

And take some paracetemol to lower your temperature.
Solpadeine or co-codamol effervescent would be even better.

Go wake up a neighbour if you haven't got any ;-)

Hope you feel better soon.

One can only give so much!;-)

Was I being a bit mean?

A nice remedy for sore throats and to ease chestiness(not the chestiness you're thinking of!)

Hot water, honey, lemon and ginger.....very soothing and works a treat. Why pay for lemsip, the above drink and a couple of paracetamol will work wonders(a nip of whisky wouldn't harm either in a hot toddy)

Dr ain't going be able to do anything for you in way of prescription anyway. Only thing is to sweat it all out,be sick, have a good poo! Some shops are open on Easter Sunday, wouldn't surprise me if Tescos are, some larger stores have a pharmacy, maybe you can make it out or as someone said ask a neighbour.
When you are well, make sure to top up on anything thats beneficial to you when you get ill like you are now.Personally I think you should just go to bed and try sleep it off as thats what I do,I'm not too keen on taking any meds and when I can if I'm ill then I sleep as much as I can, that usually does trick for me.
Your young, you shake it off soon.

Which reminds me. If you are still bad tomorrow, there is nothing better than a really hot curry to help sweat it out of your system.
