refresh in tveristy.
Check opens for PS3 and tversity on router (google port forwarding shows all info needed)
Reboot everything (just in case)

Did you not have to open the ports still..? (unless your using upnp, which is easier but leaves ports open for any rouge software apps).? just saying

When you find the file you want to play you should also see a new folder above or below the mpeg itself called "#Transcode#' (or something like that). When you select that it'll list the video again as an mpeg but you should also have other options. I sometimes get 'TMUX' which mux's the HD file perfectly for me (can't do 1080p but that's because I stream wirelessly). There are usually a few other options.

If you still don't see anything then check the settings on the media server itself, see if you can find anything on there.

I used to use tversity but switched the ps3mediaserver the other day and has been perfect; far better quality when streaming.

Yep .....appears to struggle over wireless though (in fact any hi-def stuff does)......but wired ethernet seems to works fine !

Awsome proggy ....am well chuffed.

It almost replaces my new Western Digital HD TV Box that i bought recently except the benefit is i don't need my PC & PS3 on all the time.
