I'm going traveling in a few months :). So I've got a new digital camera to take loads of photos with!

Thing is I need some advice on what are the most reliable memory cards (and if possible what are the best deals on them). Obviously because I'm aware I wont be able to upload the photos to a computer etc whilst I'm away so it is important that the cards dont cause any problems or loose any content whatsoever

Rep will be left for any help/advice offered

Thanks in advance

First of does the camera take an SD card, an XD card or a memory stick?

Sony 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo Mark 2 is £9.99 on Play

SanDisk 8GB SD HC Card is £12.99 on Play

The scandisc 8 GB would be a good choice then. Check your camera manual to see how many photos that would store. £12.99 is a good price but you might find it a wee bit cheaper if you shop around.

Actually £12.99 looks to be the cheapest.

Hi
I was told not to put all my pics onto one large card just incase anything goes wrong with it and to put pics on smaller cards and keep uploading them so you don't lose anything?

my uncle use to have an adapter so that he could transfer his photos to his ipod whilst travelling about, however now he usually just has his mac on him...so backs them straight up
