I have heard Merlin are doing a Summer pass for 39 quid, covering Alton Towers, Sealfe and Warwick Castle. Obviously, this is only good if you are Midlands based.

Has anyone done this? Any drwabacks?

£39? I'd get one, cause even if you just go to Alton Towers twice over the summer, you've got your money back.

My 2 have both got the Merlin group annual passes and they've saved me a fortune. If they want to go on a few rides, we can just pop down the road and leave after they've finished. Because you can go back for free whenever you like, you don't feel like you have to stay all day to get your moneys worth :-D

severn valley railway is fab.

my son when on a school trip there after studying WW2. The class was evacutaed, they had ID tags, pretend gas masks etc. they even spotted a German spy.

Unfortunately, he was only evacuted for a day.

we have all got Merlin passes for this year. I was thinking it was a good deal, if they do it, for next summer.

we live in the midlands and already this holiday we have done alton towers twice, warwick castrle twice and we went to sealife today.

just thinking its a really good deal to look out for next summer.

its much better than years ago. My dad has shares and gets free tickets. It used to be so boring when I was younger, but its so much better as a family day out now.

Are you sure it is the merlin one and not Staffordshire Thrill hopper one. Go to www.thrillhopper.com. For £41 you can go Alton Towers, Drayton ManorWaterworld and Snowdome over the summer

sealife birmingham was definatly selling them yesterday.

alton towers have a long term offer, come back for a second day for 5 quid. you buy this when you are there. or you can return any day that year for 10 quid. per person of course

Thanks for info blackpeppa, did not know about return any day that year for £10, may be a better option for us as not sure I fancy it 2 days in a row.

Can I purchase online and still return any day that year for £10 or does this only apply to tickets bought on the gate.

Got that wrong. Its 14 pounds for any day that year and 9 pounds for the next day.
