It's a tantalising prospect for the millions who worshipped Michael Jackson in his Moonwalking heyday. Could the former King of Pop retrieve his crown with a spectacular run of comeback concerts at the O2 Arena?

sounds like it will be expensive though. would be a pretty good gig if he still sings alright.

He's only agreed to it because he thinks the O2 dome is some sort of oxygen tent.

Anyone as famous as MJ will become a victim to the media and a victim to the general public. Everything he has done he has done it for some reason.

He has problems, but I wouldnt necessarily call him a freak!

I saw him in concert in Cork many years ago. It was a spectacular show when he was at the height of his fame. I wonder whether he'll be as good after all this time..?

he's defo a freak, I was careful with my words by using mutilation about his face, I mean are you serious?

He was amazing I really mean that, but the operative word is WAS.

He's going to announce concert dates with nothing to back it up in live performances which were not mimed in overs 10 years........its shame people will waste their money on what they hope to see and what they will actually see and HEAR

Apparently he is stuck on a coach somewhere in london ........... lol

He does seem very frail; I can't see how he could perform like in the past, but perhaps that doesn't matter?

You will get your password before Tuesday and then the presale starts on Wednesday - You enter you password and hey presto... You can access the tickets. Which is brill because a lot of people will see the " On sale Friday 13th" and they will be probs all sold out by then !

MJ always seems so weak when you see him on tv , I dont think he can sing and dance for 1/2 an hour let only any longer, im no fan but I do feel sorry for him with everything he's been through but il bet he will end up pulling out due to ill health.

Around 350,000 people have registered for the chance to buy tickets for Michael Jackson's London concerts, his promoter has said.

http://news.sky.com/sky-news/content/StaticFile/jpg/2009/Mar/Week1/15236131.jpg Star announces details of his 10 concerts at the O2 arena

The singer will play 10 concerts at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in Greenwich, south London, in July.
With more people registering than the number of available tickets, some fans will inevitably miss out.
But promoters say they will be first on the list if, as reported, more dates are announced.[COLOR=Red]
Fans who get through the registration process will be sent an email on Tuesday with a code allowing them to log on to a website to buy tickets.

Reports have suggested that Jackson will put on more shows despite proclaiming the O2 gigs would be his London curtain call.
The hype surrounding the concerts continued as an entire advert break during Dancing On Ice on ITV1 was devoted to Jackson.
The three-and-a-half minute video showcased his performances over the years.
Tickets for the concerts, costing between £50 and £75, go on sale at 7am on Friday.
