I've got a Dell mini 9 too and have been very very impressed with it since I bought it a few weeks ago from PC World. Well recommended and very highly rated in various reviews. Cheap too at £150!

Oh and it depends on what you are using it for. For browsing the net and listening to music, watching videos, cranking out the odd letters etc is fine but anything that needs more power like watching HD movies, playing games, working with spreadsheets etc, you'll need a laptop rather than a netbook

thanks for replys, i will only be surfing the net with it, so dont need anything fancy, just wanted one with a card reader on as i use that alot on my current laptop.

For spreadsheets? No. Office runs fine on netbooks.

You obviously dont use spreadsheets like I have then!!

Nah, I meant more about screensize than processing power for 'regular use' of spreadsheets as your eyes will hurt after 10mins!

And trust me, I use spreadsheets on a daily basis in my job that requires ALOT of processing power!

i prefer smaller laptops, my fellas got a 15inch laptop and i find it to bulky, ive got a 12.1 at the moment which is a great size so a couple of inches smaller wont make to much difference to me.
