Minimum 'size' for printing onto A3

Looking to print a few pictures onto A3 for my kitchen, they are old advertising posters.

Some are massive, so will print no trouble, but I also have ones that are smaller, for example Windows gives the information as

Dimensions 577x800
Width 577 pixels
Height 800 pixels
Horizontal res 96 dpi
Vertical res 96 dpi
Bit Depth 24

Anybody any ideas on what the quality will be like?

Just to give you an idea.. A3 in pixels is 3508 x 4961 at 300 dpi

I think they will be pretty distorted!

Ok, cool

You could always 'tile' the piccies to make a bigger piccie.
