Yeah, nothing jumps (that was my initial thought) - I haven't seen this exact one before although I've seen ones along the same line but wow it works really well!

You do realise this isn't an optical illusion?
#11
Some of you are easily pleased :giggle:

It's just a photo with a strong sepia effect on it that with a rollover with the mouse becomes the real photo of the castle.

No optical illusion anywhere!

It is clever :) Wonder why your eyes can't see the colour once they move?

I suppose the colour is imprinted onto your eyes and then when you move away it just disappears...

Why would your brain remember the colours differently to how they appear in the first image though?... As in the grass is bottle green, not sepia... Oh cripes I've started thinking... this could be a very dangerous day

Maybe I should have read the text above the image, but these magic eye things never work for me anyway.

EDIT - Decided to give it a go and it worked, very good, it's the proper magic eye one's that don't work for me.

It does disappear but look at the dot again and they re-appear! Although slightly faded.

I decided to create my own from a photo I took at Stourhead a few weeks ago...
