Hi guys

Not sure if this is in the right section, if not can a mod pls move it.

Both mine (o2) and GF's (t-mobile) contracts are due to expire in march and april. mine is a £35 and hers a £30 contract, and am looking to renew one. I believe both will now give you a free iphone as an upgrade but am wondering to which model or would i be better off just starting a new contract?

cheers!

haggle, barter, research = win win.

say to o2 oh i want to join t-mob cos they gave me this deal, what can you do..? then go to t-mob and do the same lol.. again, try look online for 3rd party deals to see what sort of offers you can get, then go back to whoever you want to go with.. At the end of the day your paying what.. £300-400 to them, they WANT your business.. because most of that is profit nowadays!

Last but MOST IMPORTANT bit, iphones are poo! Androids FTW..! :) no joke.

ps. as to o2 vs t-mob, imo t-mob but only bcos of coverage where im based and the deal i have with them (for life). :-D

Thanks for that, i have looked at other phones and think the hd2 is a little too big and using WM, i do like the look of the tattoo though which uses android.

Hardly worth getting an iPhone at the moment because the 4th gen will be announced in a few months.

HTC hero is a good android phone, I was in t-mobile the other day and they offered a free hero, 300 mins, 300 texts, unlimited internet plus an inclusive booster (unlimited texts etc) for £25/month on an 18 month contract. Decent deal I thought.....

I think with anything tech related if you fall into the trap of waiting for the next one you will just end up never getting anything.

I also think it highly unlikely the 4th gen will be available as a free upgrade for many months to come?

Hmmm, I don't think that really matters when it comes to phones, as soon as one is brought out these days plans are announced for it's successor...
