Put the £12.50 aside each month,

If your phone breaks, buy a new one.

Whereas the phone will become less valuable, the savings will go up. And if you fancy a change, sell the current handset, and buy a new one.

Mobile Phone insurance - Biggest rip-off out there.

Be aware that Halifax might not be your actual insurer. Im insured with Lloyds tsb and really they just have a contract with Lifestyle Services Group (LSG). The communication is poor and I'm going to have to send my phone back for the third time. Check for reviews, if its the cheapest there might be a reason.

I've got the Bank of Scotland £12.50 deal which includes , travel insurance, AA membership, card protection and other stuff.
A friend who also has the same deal had his iPhone 4 stolen recently, so it'll be interesting to see how quickly they deal with his claim.

I have the halifax one. You get 5 back each month so it's 7.50.

Also, it is with the lifestyle group. I've claimed twice (broke the phone screen) had no problem but yeah not much communication. So if you're not a worry wart then you'll be fine.

a what? lol What I've gone through with them. The service has been shocking. LSG are terrible in my opinion and 1star rating according to 70+ people on review sites.

I guess its just luck, depending on how they fix your damage

GRR! I've sent my iphone for repair, they've replaced it with a scratched one thats locked and is still water damaged. I sent it back and all they've done is post it back to me, exactly the same crummy condition.

Going to be like playing ping pong at this rate, no where near as fun as ping pong in bangkok!
