My contract with carphone warehouse 02 is almost up and was looking for a good deal on upgrading. Unfortunately, that didn't happen despite speaking to the retention and loyalty department so decided to get a good deal elsewhere and have requested for my PAC.

I have my mind set on the SE C905 but noticed mixed reviews. Would be good if someone on this forum could give me their views and thoughts on this phone, including the best deal around. I would like to stick to a 12 month contract but the best deal I can get is from Dialaphone at approx £29.36 pm with a £65 cashback and quidco of £60.

Also, can someone tell me whether this phone offered by T-Mobile, Orange and Vodafone have branding and locked to their networks.

Thanks in advance.

surprised retention is the way to go. mrs got 24 months, working out at 2.50 a month with 3 cashbacks. this was 6 months ago now though. carphone warehouse usually good with this. she also got offered 18 months at £5 month with no cashbacks. that was 500xnetmins aswell.

They did offer me the £5 pm contract over 18 months which I thought was good value but I need a new phone and I hate contracts over 18 months.

Check 3 they do 6,12 and 18 month deals and they are now offering free gifts with certain phones

All the networks (apart from O2) will lock the phone to them.

My lad had a 905, the wifi wouldn't switch on, the gps didn't work and it kept turning its self off... he sent it back (most of those problems are down to the network branding s/w).
