A couple of months ago I bought a Nokia 6600 in replacement for beloved, dearly departed SE K660i and I'm soooo unhappy with it. My question is what model phone do I need to get that is as near as damn it to the SE before I just go and buy the original one from play @ £179

I'm using mine atm, one of my fav phones I've owned, really good.

5mp camera
GPS
Wifi
3G
etc.

so few questions if you dont mind and mainly relate to what I dont like about the nokia

1. how many alarms can you set? old se 5 / nokia 1
2. can you hear it and carry out a conversation on speakerphone?
3. shortcuts? se 6 / nokia 4
4. can you change the menu order? the nokia is sooo long winded hence wanting my 6 shortcuts back
:):)

Done.

brilliant, ta, yes yr right on the shortcuts, must have counted the widget things as part of them and thats what i meant about changing the menu order, used to have inbox - up cursor, sent messages - down cursor, write new - left and alarm - right, the other stuff was ,rightly said, on the left below call key, oooh i'm getting excited

If you want to know anything else just ask, also I'm going to make a guide on how to debrand it for free in the next day or two, so you might want to use that, as it adds google earth that uses the GPS. You can install it on the branded one but it can't use GPS, also once I debranded mine it was much faster.

went right over my head but sounds great  i'm officially an old fart now so will have to give it a go, if I dont get it on t mob will need unlocking too, thanks for all yr help

I cant begin to tell you how bad the nokia is, I know im not up to speed on phones but my gosh even I feel like ive gone back in time, keep expecting dci hunt to pop up and say something offensive ;-)

Instore you have to buy a £10 top up though, that's the only reason I bought it online instead (£3.50 quidco aswell).

I didnt need to as I pointed out I could buy online, so she gave me a £10 trade in discount, I would have just waited for the online order otherwise. Suppose the store just wanted the sale. :)
