Hi just wondering if someone could help I phoned up orange as I was told I could cancel my contract as of today,

I am moving abroad so only want a pay as you go contract, the operator said she could send me out a pay as you go sim - so i could keep my number which i agreed as it will save me changing numbers for 2-3 months

anyway when i asked when my current contract ends she she it will end as soon as i register my new sim which will arrive in the next 28 days is that right???

if the sim arrives say in 27 days i don't want to be billed for another months use if that makes sense- if that is the case i would just buy a new sim off the internet and change numbers

Just cancel your contract and ask for PUK code, if you get that you can transfer your current number to any network any time on pay as you go or any , so you don't need to worry about anything,

thanks for the help will leave you rep sounds like i got an idiot on the phone first time - i just rang again second agent has just told me the first agent has entered nothing into the system - not even to send out a new sim

so i have just told them i want to cancel and will get a new number with a new sim
so as as of 19th of June my contract will end phew thanks again for the help:thumbsup:

i will just do what i normally do give them until end of june to take out the last amount then cancel it with the bank
