Mobile Phone Contracts Advice Needed !

Hi,

I'm looking into getting a new mobile phone as mine is on its last legs, now I have been a PAYG user since using mobiles but I'm now looking for a change as I'd like a decent phone on a nice cheap contract.

The contract I'm looking for has to be 12 Months and around the £15-20 mark, the best i have found is with orange on their Dolphin 25 Tariff which offers 75 Mins/150 texts @ £20 P/M. (Allowance is sufficient as I'm not a heavy user). As far as I am aware quidco offer £50 for an Orange contract aswell.

Next best is Voda/O2 @ £25 but that is a bit over my limit. If anyone else can find better please let me know.

The Mobile I wanted in particular is the Nokia 6500 slide, seems to be a good buy and stylish. Anyone got any opinions on this ?, the other phone I was looking at was the LG KF600 but it looks a little on the large side even though it is very tech looking.

Anyway to the point, does anyone know of any better deals ?

All advice appreciated !

Cheers,

DFN (Sorry about the length of the post)

It will :) Might take a couple of months to pay though...

Vodaphone have £100 for contracts atm - is there not a similar deal with them?

Thanks for the pointer, had a look but the cheapest 12 Month is £25.

3 has (or had last week) 1100 minutes/texts and a phone for £20 plus £62.50 quidco

edit: just looked and it must have finished, you can now get 700 minutes/text for £21 which isn't quite as good - sorry. But if you only want 500 texts/minutes, that's £18 which beats orange.

Plus if you know someone on 3 you can get £30 credit - i am if you don't know anyone although i'll get smacked for suggesting that!

Thanks for your post, would be a great deal but I'm after a 12 Month contract so the cheapest I can see is £25.

I'll keep looking though, thanks again.

They're doing special 6 month deals - there's more information in the hot deals forum. My advice would be to pay attention there and see what comes up :)

if you have good credit score you should get one on cash back from E2save they are doing this offer on 6500 slide, 12 months £1.99 normally cost £30 per month
The good thing is £50 cash back via quidco on O2 contract normally £36.50.
Like this you even get £26 and get the phone for FREE with 200mins and 200 txt. (althought you can use £26 for sending you cash back via special delivery for extra peace of mind) :)

I have never had problem with E2save and I am sure they would not runway like other cashback companies as they are owned by carphonewarehouse.

To find this deal go to e2save.com and click on DEAL CREATOR from left side menu----NOKIA----6500 Slide.
