I have just upgraded and got the w595 (sony ericsson) but internet dont work properly and it wont load most pages. Vodafone advised its a rubbish phone (even though they told me to get it!) So they offerred me the Nokia 5800 but I will need to pay £65 for it (I got w595 free). They said there was an issue with the phone, something about exiting pictures and it freezes though.

I cant keep the w595 as its rubbish, so should I pay for the Nokia 5800? They said its the only other decent phone or I could get the original Tocco F480 (although he said thats really old)

Now I dont know what to do! Please help. I ahve a good package on my phone - 24 months, £10 per month - 300 mins, mobile internet and unlimited txts

Pay the money.

I got rid of my Nokia 5800 recently, only for money reasons though. It was great and I never had a day of problems with it. Internet was fast and screen resolution of the webpages was good and you could easily zoom into any parts of the page. I personally would pay the extra. I got £180 for my 5800 last week on ebay (item no. 220412293406), so they do still pull good money!

Thanks - seems like I could easily flog iton then for quite a bit more. The w595 pure rubbish - it wont let me even load hotmail!

Still treating mine as a new toy.

Just got my 5800 back from the repair centre at CPW. If you do get it, I'd recommend upgrading the software right away - that seemed to be the issue with mine and why the phone refused to boot up.

How do you update it? Is it easy to do?

I think it is browsing the net that kills the battery.... If I use it for calls and texts, I can get 2 days out of it, just:)

CPW did it for me, but I'd imagine it is pretty simple.

Thanks everyone! I am not sure, the phone I have is awful and I need to change it - but not sure if the 5800 is for me. I will have to see what else they do. They did say about the old tocco?
