Mobile troubles!

Hi!

I was wondering if anybody had any advice on what I could do. I ordered a mobile from mobiles 2 your door over a month ago. However, the handset was faulty and kept freezing, so I sent it back.

They said once I sent it back, they will dispatch another handset on the same day, but they have not sent me a new handset! I have been waiting 3 weeks but still no mobile.

I've rang up on numerous occasions and they keep saying they will send one out ASAP but still no joy. I rang up on saturday and I was told they guaranteed I would get the handset by tuesday but I didn't get it. So I rang up on tuesday, and they said they guaranteed I would get it by the end of this week. I rang up today to find out exactly what day I will be getting it and now they are saying that I might not even get it this week!

I'm extremely fed up now! What can I do???

Ask for ur money back and threaten them with trading standards. Look up laws regarding "distance selling" and quote bits n bobs from there

tell them to cancel contract as they have breached it and that you'll take your business elsewhere

yes as they are in breach of contract. they sent you a phone which wasn't fit for purpose and then haven't sent a replacement. cancel! nothing they can do to stop you even if they say so. speak to citizens advice and trading standards.

Mobiles2yourdoor are part of the Phones4U group so firstly stop phoning the 0870 number and use the freephone number 0800 0725855 and ask to be put through to Mobiles2your door.

Secondly as they are failing to provide the service that you agreed to then you are perfectly within your rights to terminate any contract you have with them.

If it's not a contract phone then just demand a refund and go elsewhere.

I bought the phone on contract from M2YD but it's on vodafone, so it's unlikely I'll be able to get out of the contract. I've been ringing up every other day to check on the progress but keep being fobbed off with lies. What shall I do? :-(
