I bought a PAYG phone from, and got a dispatch email today. In the email it mentions that I get 1 month free trials of their Phonecare insurance and TIMI Gadget Support... neither of which I want.

Do I need to call them to cancel it, or can I just ignore it as it's a PAYG phone, and they don't have any direct debit details to take further payments from...

Anybody else had any experiences with them regarding this issue?

only on pay monthly, one you can cancel on the net ( I think) and the other you have to ring. No problems they will cancel, nos etc are on the email etc.
when I cancelled with them, they stil took the payment for the following (first) month, although they did eventually refund.
^ but that's for pay monthly right? can I just ignore it for PAYG?
Give them a call. There really is no other solution.
send them a letter cancelling - here is a template for the letter

RE: [policy number here]

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am sending you this written notice to request cancellation of my mobile phone insurance policy effective [insert data here]
. I would appreciate you sending me written confirmation within 30 days that the cancellation has been put into effect. Please refund the unused portion of my policy premium, and cease charging my bank account for payment of monthly premiums.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
