Hey all,

im thinkin o using quidco to get the iphone through here, but i noticed that at checkout they sneakily add on "gadget support" and "insurance" which is free for the first month but will charge you then on if you forget to cancel.
Has anyone used the company to get any phone - is it easy enough to cancel these sneaky ways of them taking your money?
Are they good at folliwing through on the cashback thru quidco?

Easy to cancel, just cut the direct debit?

Seem to be a decent firm, they have a rep who can be found on MSE occasionally to sort out problems.
One negative tho, Quidco didnt track for me.

Everything else went fine, but if you google reviews for them there are many, many bad comments.
I suppose though reviews are only really done by people who have had problems with them.
Satisfied customers just cant be arsed!!

Good luck :)

Whats the deal may i ask?

there's no particular exceptional deal - they just appear to be one of (if not the only) copany that use link Quidco and iphone.
So that if i get a iphone 3GS i get cashback from them, its just on the site as you place it in the basket you also inherit tacked on extras (i.e. insurance) that you pay for should you forget to cancel them.

So i was just asking, is it worth the hassle to get the cashback or should i just be popping into the shop an paying top dollar
