hi sold an item on 20th oct but seller still hasnt recieved this? i sent 5 parcels out that day and all the other buyers recieved theres and left feedback. as i have never had this problem before i dont know what im to do. she did tell me that she hadnt recieved any thing she had paid for off other people when mine hadnt been recieved thats why i prefered to wait incase it did turn up.
i have the reciept sent second class post, i would usually send things recorded that cost over £15 but as i was knocked down on price and didnt want to ask for an extra 70p as she said she was skint!!

no proof they have had it and saying they havent, its a bit tricky and easy to say if your skint
#2
can't you claim through Royal mail and then give them their money back, when RM have looked into it.
#3
You can claim after 15 days but i find all i get is a book of stamps but still have to refund!
#4
all you can do is file a lost item through the royal mail, and hope they compensate. But i think its normally the buyer who has to wait for the money to be paid out by the royal mail, you shouldn't have to compensate.

That's what I have done in the past when I've sold something and they say they haven't received it.

There is a form to print out and fill in on royal mails website

go to the post office with the proof of postage and they will let you know what to do.

For lost or damaged items that have an intrinsic value, with evidence of posting with Royal Mail (such as a certificate of posting) and evidence of value (such as an invoice or receipt) customers will be entitled to a postage refund plus compensation for actual loss up to the value of the item, or 100 x 1st class stamps at the first weight step, whichever is the lowest;

RM site ^^^^

They will give you a lost/damaged form and tell you to fill it in. She can get that information here without leaving the house :) They can't give you any more info than that.

It actually used to be 100x the price of the stamp. So 1st would be £36 and second would be £29 (if thats how much a 1st and 2nd class is now!)

Nope, if you include price of said item from amazon or somewhere, they reimburse you. Have done for me on 3 occasions now.

I thought it was up to 100 1st class stamps = currently £39, whether you sent it 1st or 2nd.

Not sure why it puts you off selling on here in particular?

Anyway, it's the value of the stamps, not the stamps themselves!!

Well I've always understood it to be the way it currently is, and I've been using the post office heavily since 2006.
