A game that will outsell BF3 3:1(guess) has had it's day? I would buy shares in it.

I am enjoying BlackOps I don't understand what everyones beef is with it.

MW2 was over complicated

MW was the best but far too many hacks in the past 12 months made it unplayable.

Black Op's wasnt all that, but its grown on me now & the new maps are SUPERB !!

doesn't make it a good game though does it. BF3 will **** on it from a great height

BF3 will undoubtedly be the better game.

It won't sell anywhere near as well though. So many people just won't be able to leave their beloved CoD. #SadFactOfLife

From what I can remember infinity ward no longer exist, they have started another company. They wont be developing MW3 so likely it could be rubbish

BF3 may be the better game but with so many kids and crappy reviewers loving the COD series it will outsell BF3 and score higher on reviews i can promise you that.

whilst that is half true, IW are still a company it has a few workers left and activision done a huge hiring session. also Sledgehammer ( company who done dead space 1 ) and a company called Raven are helping also i heard treyarch are jumping in and helping with perks.

the old IW started a company called Respawn and EA Fund them at the moment, they dont work for EA, EA will be earning there moneys back through sales, itl be good as the old IW always wanted to go solo as they had the potential Activision ruined them like they do everyone.

MW = Good (Infinity Ward)
WaW = Bad (Trey Arch)
MW2 = Good (Infinity Ward)
BO's = Bad (Trey Arch)
MW3 = ? (Trey Arch)

Added the developers; so you can see the emerging pattern.

Not that it matters, it'll be the number one, best selling game ever and win game of the year. All thanks to the deep pockets of Activision's marketing department.

Supposedly Activision are introducing pay to play online into this version........apparently it will be £5 a month and you'll get extra DLC included in the price.

Hopefully their greed will kill off the series.

Infinity Ward :Escape From EA

The year is 2010 and the coders are back but this time it's E.A., which through the distribution of Fifa games has become a publisher of the damned. But something has gone wrong in this new moral order because the President's West and Zampella have absconded to E.A. Hopefully with a detonation device to blow all FIFA titles to smithereens.

"EA games it's in the bin."

A subscription-based 'Call of Duty' title is looking more and more likely.

When asked about the company's upcoming plans for the series during its financial call this afternoon, President and CEO of Activision Publishing Mike Griffith re-confirmed the series will see a new title every year, and said new business models are being looked at.

"Our strategy continues to be to annualize our key franchises. We've indicated before that Call of Duty is on a two year development cycle given the content and work that needs to go into a high-quality game experience," said Griffith.

"We also have new business models potentially for the franchise in the future and we've been building capabilities on both the business development side as well as the studio side of it. We remain committed to annualize the Call of Duty franchise."

President and CEO of Activision Bobby Kotick also hinted at where the company wants to take Call of Duty going forward.

"If you think about the success that we've had in other product categories on subscription, you can get a sense of the direction that we want to take that franchise," he said.

Last November, Activision Blizzard CFO Thomas Tippl stated during the BMO Capital Markets Conference in New York City the company plans to test and launch new online business models for its top franchises.
