Half time and still 1-0.

WHU look pretty poor..... but all the time it remains one goal, anything can happen. (In Spurs case even 3-0 anything could happen! :p )

Hopefully though, this will be the 4th consecutive clean sheet.

ha, u know i like to see spurs do well but this is vital for westham!!! modric is good isnt he, ur team struggle without him in the side i think.....dont even know if the bristol game will get played, pitch is bad apparently.

Its vital for Spurs too!

And yes, Spurs struggled without Modric. We had a 100% record when he broke his leg. Hopefully that will continue now he's making his first start since.

Not bothered about Beristol.... maybe start a lower league thread? :w00t:

Get in there. (And about time!)

2-0

Very one sided game!

cant believe I sat and watched that spurs game. spurs were fairly good but by god west ham were poor. I'm willing to bet that zola still runs rings round that shower in training.

I hate Drogba. Throws himself to the floor at every opportunity.

As a United fan, aren't you leaving yourself a little open with that? :p

Not at all. Drogba goes after the nearest player to him when the referee even waves him away!

Modric was class today. I dont think I have seen a sweeter striker of a ball than Huddlestone.

Pantsil has Drogba in his pocket.

LOL....if we'd had a bit more luck this season, we'd be top right now! (And I never thought Id be saying that without a wry smile on my face!)

Things are definitely looking rosey right now. We were bottom 3 this time last year! If only they could learn not to switch off, concentrate for 90 minutes and kill games, they really would be a side to be feared. Liverpool away next! :whistling:

Have you been drinking?!

In all seriousness, beating Wigan 9-1 was not helpful.

Hopefully you will get 4th place. Either Villa, City or Spurs. I think you have enough to keep Liverpool out...

Nope. We were mugged for 6 points by both Wolves and Stoke and dominating to embarrassing proportions, + 2 points lost at Villa we really deserved...and 2 points lost to Everton in a game already won (or thats what they thought.)

As it stands we are 5 points off top spot ATM. If those results had gone our way (ie we were bloody unlucky), we'd be 5 points clear! :p

I'd imagine most Man U fans would prefer Spurs to take it over the others (though I realise its anyone but Liverpool!)

It is a very, very strange league this year. Rooney summed it up perfectly yesterday.

Manchester United losing 5 games before Christmas and they are still in contention. Then you have the likes of Birmingham and Fulham. If all goes well for Birmingham today, it will be their 11th game in the league without losing. That is form of champions, not a newly promoted team. McLeish has them VERY well organised. McLeish and Hodgson are doing amazing jobs.

Newcastle v Derby are on after. Was meant to be going up for it as my friend plays for Derby but it is far too cold in the North!!

Looks like City are going to win their game comfortably.

Brum are doing exceptionally well.

Indeed on both counts. Wolves have put up a very good fight.

3-0 bit unfair but wolves had their chances.

where has the thread gone?

3-0 now

They played well at Spurs.... but were overrun. Spurs can't really complain if they cant finish a game they dominate.

Pulled probably. It was only banter, it should not have been closed.

Man City have been so so good going forward tonight, Wolves did play well and had a hell of a lot of possession first half but Tevez and Bellamy are just on superb form at the moment , cant watch injury time as Ive got a tenner on City to win 3-0 at 14to1 !
#29
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS ! City won and Im slightly richer than I was before the match ! does it get any better ?
