Money back on tv if england win world cup

Hi,

I was wondering what stops you from buying a tv from a store that is offering you your money back if england win the world cup, and then keeping it boxed up and if they dont win take it back for a refund anyway!

I have read the t&c's and i cant see anything that prohibits it.

Please note: comments saying that England have no chance of winning the world cup are neither truthful or helpful, lol

Where is this?

I knew that for every goal we scored you got £10 off?

Depends on the store but they are under no obligation to take the TV back off you unless there is a problem with it

Might be worth asking in store. might find the spottiest, dumbest looking college boy and get the inside scope on it all :)

Does this apply in Scotland. ;-)

Yes milewide this does apply to Scotland. Have just bought a plasma from Currys (over £599) . They give you a leaflet away with you to register the purchase at home and then you are given a unique number from the website which you must print off and send with copy of your purchase. You only have 3 days to register your item and day of purchase is counted as Day 1.
After World Cup is finished then you send it off to address on website and you can have it sent to you as cheque or gift card/voucher.
Hope this helps
