saw it last week in 3D and the 3D effect was amazing, but unfortunately the film wasn't much good compared to the likes of Shrek etc... not really many jokes for the adults, even the kiddie ones were a bit flat

My almost 14yr old nephew went this week with some friends, we found this quite funny by the way that they make out they're so grown up and then go and see a kids film. Anyway, he thought it was fantastic and he's really fussy so for him to say that, it must be!!

My kids liked it. Missus said it was ok, but nothing special.

it was pretty good, although the best kids film so far this year (and the best 3d film of all time...so far) is easily Coraline.

It's by Henry Selick, the guy who directed A Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach and it's based on the book by the truly astounding, multi-award winning Neil Gaiman who also wrote Stardust, Mirrormask, Beowulf, The Graveyard Book, American Gods, Sandman, etc

CORALINE

It's the kind of film that you wish they could have made when you were younger (it's great for adults as well, but adults lack the sense of wonder that a truly great film can instill in kids), I don't think I've enjoyed a kids film so much since going to see The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth when I was younger.
