If its less than you expect to pay then say nothing. why is there a need for you to query this?

Dont want them coming back to me in 6 months time saying I owe them money. Just curious as well

then its up to you to do what you feel you need to do in order to satisfy your own curiosity.

The only way you're ging to get an answer to your questions of "Any reason why this is?" is to call O2 and ask for that reason.

Sorry to be blunt but you're asking people to speculate on bill levels that even you dont know about let alone anyone else therefore the only way you are going to get any comfort of O2 not coming back in 6 months time is to simply give them a call and ask.

Hope your low bills are correct though, wish mines was as low as that. :)
