Moped: To Sell or Scrap? Advice please......

scabbersscabbers

I have got a Peugot Trekker moped, L reg in my garden. Doesn't actually work and nobody here is going to make it! So I have decided to get rid of it because I'm fed up of looking at it leaning against the fence. I've been told all the parts are there but it needs a new starter motor (looks to me like it may need a little more than that but who am I to say?!) My questions are: Would I be able to get any money for it? If so where to advertise (I can do ebay if needed) OR someone did say sell the parts (hassle 'cos I don't know where to start)
Advice appreciated..thanks.

Scrap or sell for spares? not really worth it as new moped parts are cheap so not much market.

Best to bung it on the bay listed as spares/repairs, with parts being cheap its a do-able project also get a spare phone and payg sim and add the number to your listing, chances are someone will call and make you an offer. That way if it sells like that you can end the auction early saying its no longer available and saving on final value fee.

PS what area you in scabbers? I may fancy a little project myself!

Two things you can do ..... advertise in your local Freeads yellow paper, local buyers less hassle. Sell as spares or repair and a non runner. Make it cheap and it will go.
If you cant be bothered with that, chain it to your fron gate and leave it about 20mins and it will be gone! LOL

Haha! It won't be. I live in a village and it's at the end of the garden easily nickable but still there!

    Not being picky or anything...

    Homer: Oh my God!
    Lisa: What is it?
    Homer: Tramapoline! Trampopoline! [runs out]
    Bart: He said what now?
Marge: Please, don't bring home any more old crutches!
