would more than 5 years old cosmetic product damage your skin?

i hardly use makeup, but keep buying it ended up loads of make up that hasn't been used. would it damage my skin if i use them?

they wont hurt your skin, think my blusher is about 10 yr old i think, and got eyeshadows that are about the same - lol

wouldnt use old foundation, mascara, lipgloss, that sort of thing

i hv loose powder and foundation which is about 13 years old.it was really expensive then when i bought it. my eyeshadows blushers are about 7 years old... still use it sometimes. I wonder the same if it would damage my skin.
then again, i rarely use make up. natural beauty... ;)
