Most ridiculous purchase?

I once bought a pair of socks for £21.

Seemed a good idea at the time but got a hole in them about 3 weeks in just like a pair of 50p socks would, only mine had the Vivienne Westwood Orb on them and were black and pink, now I don't care less what I wear.

Lesson learnt, although they were nice socks albeit not very durable.

What's your most ridiculous purchase?

the most stupid thing i have ever done is spend £40 on an armani dummy and bib for my first born. The bib was stained the first time he wore it and the dummy was lost after about a week. That is my most ridiculous purchase to date.

I would suggest that to the OH..but if he asked how much the shoes cost and I told him...I think I would be sleeping on the sofa :D

now if you do what i do then you wouldn't be paying for them in the first place, send a pic of you wearing them in the shop, hitch skirt up a bit so you show a bit of leg and bobs yr uncle hehehe, works for me

spent 1000 euros on a hooker a few years ago

A 3d camera whilst i was in japan a mere 350quid on release! could only afford the camera, so no special photo frame and the pics cost a bit to get printed as well! oh and a £150 hammock which i cant use as i live in a rented flat with nowhere to hang it.

Nope mine does, I have some lush new shoes, doubt I'll ever wear them out of the house 5" spangly lipsy platforms, oh how I lol'ed putting them on the other day, a beachball on stilts.

My worst purchase ever, was a size 8 coat I bought for £300 odd pound after my first baby thinking it would be a treat I'd pop back into, it's still upstairs 8 years later.

I have a coat like that, except it was only about £50 and a sz10, i bought it when I was 15, and it was always 2 small, it was supposed to be an incentive to loose weight. pulled it out the loft earlier this year (9yrs ish later) and it fits (if a little big). so dont give up hope :)

or you could sell and buy more new shoes (thats what I wud do) :D
