No I've only been to 5 games in the last 3 years, well 5 first team games i've been to plenty of reserve / friendly and youth team games though in that time

Now though i'm out the Navy i'm hoping to get a half season ticket in January

My brother anyway was pictured in the crowd on too go too bad but i've seen him on Sky Sports a few times as when our home games are on TV his seat is behind the commentators box

Fail.

He aint worth £20M and thats why no such offer has been made. If he was though, you can still be our feeder club!:p

There's only one feeder club in the Prem this season, when will Berbatov be following in Keane's footsteps and joining a big team?

I'm going to buy a PS2 with a faulty laser off E-Bay tomorrow over the next few days by the way and whack another network adapter in it and a cheap HDD then put it back on E Bay

The sooner Spurs sell Berbatov, the better IMHO.

Yes I agree all clubs want to sell their best two strikers

You stand 0 chance of bringing in another Champions League quality strikers to replace the one you've lost and one which looks to be leaving so why not try to keep hold of one of them. He is under contract after all.

Well thanks for your insight into the transfer deadline of August 31st. I guess we will have to wait and see if you are correct. However, its been made clear that Berbatov is going nowhere until there is a replacement lined up. If Spurs were to meet the valuation of £20M for Ashton, WHU would snap our arms off for the cash and not be concerned about a replacement. Thats the difference between the clubs.

And as for Berbatov, if you had seen the effort (or moreover lack of), you would be a bit stupid not to realise its pointless keeping a player who's clearly not trying. In that respect, it makes him a player we'd want to sell rather than need to (not that we ever "needed" to sell him in the first place.)

Yeah too right we would sell Ashton for £20 million, just not to you. In fact we have actually been touting Ashton around to the likes of Villa and Newcastle. Becasue we wont get 20 million for him next season and say we bring in Militio and Garcia those two will be worth in excess of £20 million next season. It's good business you see. Plu we would be getting rid of a striker who has had more than his fair share of injury problems and bringing in two that haven't.

We already have two replacements lined up anyway, we're in for Milito as it is and have made contact over Garcia too, we wont sign both though unless we sell Ashton

Either way we will be looking at strike force of;

Ashton, Bellamy, Cole, Sears, Hines, Boa Morte and Garcia or Milito or;

Bellamy, Milito, Garcia, Cole, Sears, Boa Morte & Hines

Which isn't too bad, of course those signings may not come off but we will get someone similar. Kia Joorabchian is also lining us up another two loan signings as he did with Tevez and Mascherano. I don't think the two will be as big names but judging by the players on his books they will most certainly have the potential.

I see his (Berbatov's) attitude today and I commend him for it, after all who would want to play for a team who only just scraped an 11th placed finish last season. He's a good player and needs to be playing for a club that matches his level. You can chuck as much money at it as you want but it's never going to be tottenham.

Its ironic that you dont see Keane in the same light! Particularly since you claim that West Ham dont sell its best players!

You forgot to mention that the previous 2 seasons we were fifth..... and the reason he has shone is because he has been playing for a club that thrives on attacking play. Last season was a bad one, granted. Only one trophy. But since you are so convinced WHU are a bigger club than Spurs and in a better position, fancy a little wager on the League position this time around?

I do think its a little sad though that you would "commend him" (Bebatov) for his lack of effort. I thought you were a football fan. He's certainly not doing himself any favours. If any club is watching, there is no way they would make an offer. I'm guessing you would rather we play a £30M rated player in the reserves than cash in?

Keane is better than Ashton but Keane is probably worth about £20 million maybe even a little more whereas Ashton is not worth £20 million. That's the difference you got seen off whereas it's a good sale for us. I don't think he is our best player anyway, our team relies on pace and that doesn't suit Ashton. Bellamy though is perfect for it an I think he will outscore Ashton this season.

Fantasy transfers, I don't think so. Eto'o is a fantasy but surely no team not in the Champions league would have though they could have signed him?

I'll have a wager with you anyway and I don't think were a bigger club than you, we're about even you've taken a big gamble on your team though this season and that could go either way.

I commend as he has big ambitions, he may have gone about it slightly the wrong but you can't fault him for it. I'm of the opinion that it is something Tottenham has done anyway to make him behave in the way he has done. Leaving him out of some of the pre season friendlies and starting him from the bench today wouldn't have helped. Without doubt though even with his poor attitude today he was still the best player on the pitch for you.

There was always the option of offering him a new contract with a release clause if a top 4 club comes in for him (only active of course if you yourself don't finish top 4). I'm sure he would have considered that. Maybe even make the release clause active in January if your not up there at the top.

I think Wenger was right about Modric anyway i'm only judging him by the few games i've seen him play though but still, I don't think he is worth anything near what you've paid for him.

I don't know footballs a funny thing at the end of the day, I think we should leave this debate until August 31st and see where we both stand then :thumbsup:
